Since the introduction of Oeko-Tex Standard100, about 10,000 companies in the textile and fabric industry worldwide have been awarded Textiles of Confidence certificates. Starting this year, recycled materials are included in the Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex certification system, which specifies the minimum amount of recycled materials and uses different testing procedures depending on the source of the material and the necessary background information.
Our company obtained the OeKotex 100 Recyclable Certificate in 2021. Considering that the recycled material has already consumed part of its life cycle, the certification of the recycled material faces special challenges compared to the new raw material. Targeted, impartial and neutral testing based on the scientific standards catalog and implementation of product safety standards related to human ecology. As a "confidence textile" label, it not only helps manufacturers to openly and transparently show the safety of their products, but also allows consumers to choose safer and more ecological products.
